Isla Pacifika offers dance classes representing the various performing arts of the South Pacific. This includes Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan, Maori and Chamorro dance styles.
Learn the basics steps of Hula including Hula Auana (modern Hula) and Hula Kahiko (ancient Hula), Tahitian dances such as the Otea and Aparima, and other dances from various islands of the Pacific.

Class times: Adults 10:00-11:30 a.m.; Keiki 11:30 a.m. -12:00 noon.
Our dance class focuses on having fun while learning the basics of polynesian dancing in a relaxed and casual environment. Each class begins with a warm up of basic dance moves and continues with learning choreography from different pacific islands. This is a great class for anyone who would like to dance for recreation or exercise or who is looking to become a professional dancer. If you think you have two left feet, no worries. One of our instructors will work with you “one on one” to ensure you are comfortable with the basics.
Hula, Tahitian and Polynesian dance classes for keikis (children)? Keiki classes are also being held at 4901 N Elston, Chicago, Illinois 60630. Keiki class starts at 11:30 a.m.
